After releasing one of the best albums of 2018 with Room 25 and then dropping a new song on New Year’s Day, Noname began her tour in Detroit on 1/2 and then hit NYC for two sold-out shows at Brooklyn Steel this past weekend. She’s got a bigger stage show than ever, with a new extravagant light show and more backup singers, in addition to the airtight live band she’s had for years. She played for about 50 minutes and did a good mix of Room 25 songs with songs from her 2016 debut Telefone, and she brought out collaborators Smino and Saba to join her for “Ace.” Watch video of “Ace” (and a couple other clips from the show) below, and see pictures of Saturday’s show (including shots of opener Elton Aura) in the gallery above.

Noname, Smino, and Saba are also performing “Ace” on Fallon tonight (1/7) so stay tuned for that. Noname will be back in NYC for Governors Ball.
