Northside Festival moving all Black Bear Bar shows to different venues

Over the weekend, a racist Oi! skinhead show was moved from Black Bear Bar to Santos Party House (which may be closed for good), and the the Black Bar Bar promoters posted an apology. Now, Brooklyn's upcoming Northside Festival has revealed that all Northside shows scheduled to happen at Black Bear Bar will move elsewhere. Their statement reads: "In conjunction with showcase partners Cypher League, Elephess, Pancakes & Whiskey and Cigar City Management, Northside shows taking place at Black Bear Bar are in the process of being relocated in light of this weekend’s events. Keep an eye here (and the forthcoming festival app) for updated venue and schedule info. Northside Festival celebrates the diversity of Brooklyn and hope that all feel welcome at our shows."
