Nuclear Assault

Nuclear Assault not done yet, playing Vitus in January

Back in 2015, NYC thrash vets Nuclear Assault revealed they’d be going on their final tour, as bassist Dan Lilker (also of Anthrax and Brutal Truth) planned to retire from music. They aren’t done just yet, as they just announced a hometown show for January 20 at Saint Vitus with Heavy Metal Kings, Kings Bounty, and more TBA. The show is a benefit for Tamerlaine Farms Animal Sanctuary and it doubles as Howie Abrams’ 50th birthday party. Tickets go on sale Thursday (11/16) at noon.

The show appears to be a one-off for now. Nuclear Assault’s latest release is 2015’s Pounder EP. Stream that, along with a classic video, below.
