Numero Group pop-up store in Brooklyn this weekend (right by WFMU Record Fair)

As they’ve done the past few years, Chicago-based reissues label The Numero Group have taken a pop-up store on the road, and it’s in Brooklyn as we speak, located at 114 Franklin St in Greenpoint. As they put it, the Numero Pop up features “two guys, a box truck, and seven pallets teeming with blow out-priced Numero LPs, CDs, 45s, t-shirts, tapes, books, and other additional miscellany your local record store isn’t carrying.” Recent Numero titles include that Husker Du‘s Savage Young Du box set, their Eccentric Soul series, the Warfaring Strangers psych compilation, and tons more. I wouldn’t be surprised if they’re selling some releases that aren’t due out yet, like their upcoming compilation of dreampop artist Happy Rhodes (not out till June), or the three-LP exotica compilation, Technicolor Paradise (out in May). They don’t put out much junk.

The Numero Group Brooklyn Pop-Up Store is open today (4/27) and Saturday (4/28) from noon to 8 PM and Sunday (4/29) from noon to 5 PM. It should be noted that the location is just down the street from the WFMU Record Fair (Brooklyn Expo Center), so if you’re going to that it’s worth a stop on the way.

If you’re going to the WFMU Record Fair, we’ve got a coupon for $2 off daily admission.
