New York Comic Con returns to NYC's Jacob Javits Center from October 4-7 for its 2018 edition. The comic, genre televsion, movie, anime, gaming, book, and pop cultural convention is wildly popular, with attendance at its 2017 edition topping 200,000 people. Passes regularly sell out well in advance, and purchasing them requires registration through Fan Verification.

According to Comic Con, people who already have Fan Verification accounts from 2016 and/or 2017 will receive email from ShowClix by May 10 to update those accounts for this year. Updating needs to be done by May 30, or your account will be deactivated. After updating, you'll then be eligible to participate in a presale on June 10.

For those without accounts, Fan Verification registration opens on June 13 and closes on July 8, with passes going on sale to the general public on July 18. See NY Comic Con's site for more information about the process.
