Winter Storm Stella is looking to potentially dump upwards of 20" of snow on the NYC-area over the next 24 hours, not to mention predicted 40-50 miles per hour winds, which are already causing headaches for a lot of people flying to SXSW. But it's also likely to play havoc with lots of stuff on a local level as well. Governor Cuomo has activated the State Emergency Operations Center for Monday evening (3/13) to prepare and respond to the Nor'easter that is expected to reach New York State late tonight. Above-ground subway service will be suspended early Tuesday morning (4 AM) and NYC public schools will be closed Tuesday.
