On Saturday, Obits played a record release show at The Bell House for their third long-player, Bed & Bugs, which is out now via Sub Pop. If you couldn't make it to that show, the band will have a couple more shows coming up in NYC as part of their tour which starts next week. They'll be playing a tiny show on October 12 at The Rock Shop with openers Lame Drivers and Family Curse. Tickets are on sale.

UPDATE: Though it's true that the Rock Shop show is during CBGB Festival, and Obits are listed on CBGB Fest's website, that show is not actually part of CBGB Festival.

They'll also be here for CMJ, playing Knitting Factory on October 19 as part of the Flower Booking showcase that also features UK band The History of Apple Pie and Kid Karate. Tickets are still available, and if you've got a badge you can get in with that as well. They may have other shows as well -- day parties and the like -- so stay tuned.

If you haven't heard Bed & Bugs yet, you can stream it in full, along with a list of updated Obits tour dates, below.
