John Dwyer's Oh Sees are currently in NYC, tonight playing the last of three shows here as part of their current tour in support of the band's 19th album, Orc -- the first of those being Saturday night (9/9) at Warsaw in Brooklyn. The current two-drummer lineup of Oh Sees (they recently dropped the "Thee" from their name) are a well-oiled machine at this point and know how to deliver an amped up, sweat-inducing, crowd-pleasing show. Openers are this one were Georgia's krautrock-inspired Oceans of the Moon. Pictures from the night are in this post.

Oh Sees hit Warsaw again on Sunday (9/10) with Chorizo -- we'll have pics up soon from that show too -- and wrap up this NYC visit tonight (9/11) at Bowery Ballroom with long-running Providence, RI band Olneyville Sound System and tickets are still available.

The 20th Oh Sees album, a record under the name OCS where Dwyer collaborates with onetime bandmate Brigid Dawson, is out in November.
