Oh Sees just wrapped up a sweaty three-night stand at Brooklyn's Warsaw. John Dwyer will be back in NYC before the year's up to present a very different version of the group: OCS, the pretty, pastoral, and folky collaboration with Brigid Dawson. The show happens December 15 at Mumrr Theatre and will include many of the same players on the OCS album, including strings:

John Dwyer - vocals and guitar
Brigid Dawson - vocals
Paul Quattrone - drums
Tim Hellman - bass
Emily Elkin - cello
Heather Lockie - viola
Eric Clark - violin

Tickets for the OCS show are on sale now. There's also a double live OCS album on the way which was recorded live last year at The Chapel in San Francisco. That's out November 2 via Rock is Hell.

Meanwhile, the more mosh-friendly Oh Sees tour rolls on, with shows in Asheville, NC, Atlanta, New Orleans, Austin and more. They'll also tour South America starting November 22. All dates, and a stream of the OCS album, below.
