Old 97's on tour (Rhett Miller, too)
Old 97’s, who released Graveyard Whistling last year, will be on tour this spring and they’ll kick things off with their third Old 97’s County Fair in Dallas on April 14, a one day festival they’re headlining that also features sets from Lord Huron, The Mavericks, Valerie June, Paul Cauthen, The Bottle Rockets (who play NYC tonight), Heartless Bastards’ Erika Wennerstrom, Jaime Wyatt, and Bastards of Soul. After that the Old 97’s tour winds its way east, and while there’s no NYC show, they do play just a train ride away from the city at Westchester’s Tarrytown Music Hall on June 30 (tickets).
Meanwhile, frontman Rhett Miller has solo dates in and around Old 97’s shows, including a stop at NYC’s City Winery on July 12 (tickets).
