Orville Peck played MoMA's Armory Party (pics, setlist)
Last night was MoMA’s annual Armory Party which is the kickoff gala for the museum’s annual The Armory Show and Armory Arts Week. This year’s party featured a live performance from masked Canadian Orville Peck and the party felt like a natural habitat for his highfalutin, twangy dreampop. Also keeping the crowd entertained were DJs Kitty Cash, Hank, and Mona. Pictures from the soiree are in the gallery above and a picture of Orville’s setlist is below.
Orville Peck will be back in NYC in October when he opens for Harry Styles’ two “Harryween” shows at Madison Square Garden. Before that, he’s on tour through the spring and summer, including festival stops at Coachella, Stagecoach, Boston Calling, Shaky Knees, and more. All dates are listed below.
