Brazilian band Os Mutantes' mix of American psych rock and their native tropicalia still sounds futuristic (and amazing and fun) today, some 50 years since their inception. The band, led by original member Sergio Dias, headed north for a few U.S. shows in late last month, including a stop at Webster Hall's Marlin Room on on Monday, February 27. They didn't skimp on the hits, including faves like "Bat Macumba" and "A Minha Menina" and lots more.
