O+S (Orenda Fink & Remy Zero's Cedric LeMoyne) releasing new LP - hear a song

Last month, Orenda Fink (of Azure Ray and Now It’s Overhead) released a debut EP with her husband Todd Fink (of The Faint) as CLOSENESS, but that’s not the only project she’s working on this year. Her collaborative duo with Cedric LeMoyne of Remy Zero, O+S, will release a followup to their 2009 self-titled debut. It’s called You Were Once the Sun, Now You’re the Moon, and it drops on April 21 via Saddle Creek (pre-order).

We’re premiering a new single off that album, “Remember When… (The Backroads),” which is a real nice dose of indie-minded pop, mixing acoustic and electric guitars with head-nodding snare cracks and Orenda’s nice airy voice. It sounds like something that Saddle Creek might’ve put out in the mid/late 2000s, a sound that’s in a pretty good place in 2017 (what with the new Land of Talk album and all). Listen below.
