Owen shares new song, did a socially distanced performance at 1,000+ ft above Chicago

As mentioned, American Football frontman Mike Kinsella is releasing his first new Owen album in four years, The Avalanche, on June 19 via Polyvinyl, and second single "On With The Show" is out now.

Like Owen's 2016 album The King of Whys, The Avalanche was produced by S Carey of Bon Iver and engineered by frequent S. Carey collaborator Zach Hanson, and Mike, Sean, and Zach have really formed a great chemistry with each other, as you can hear on previous single "A New Muse" and the new "On With The Show," which are some of Mike's best-produced songs yet. This new one's also a melodic and lyrical triumph -- it feels like an Owen song you've known your whole life after one listen, but it could only have been born out of the seasoned wisdom that Mike has developed throughout his 25+ year career.
