Ozzy Osbourne cancels planned Parkinson’s treatment in Switzerland
Back before everyone began cancelling and postponing tours due to the coronavirus pandemic, Ozzy Osbourne cancelled his North American tour to seek treatment for Parkinson's disease. He was to travel to Switzerland in April for the six-to-eight week treatment, he said at the time, but of course, things are wildly different than they were just over a month ago, and Sharon Osbourne gave an update on their plans on her CBS show, The Talk, as Metal Sucks points out. "We had to cancel our trip to Switzerland," she said, "and we were meant to go on the eighth of April but we had to cancel, for his treatment, and we're just hanging in like everybody else, just trying to stay away and be quiet and just, you know, hold it in there. I honestly find this such frightening times. I just think it's a really really frightening time to be alive...I cry every day when I watch the death toll go up and more and more people catch this virus. I'm just, you know, devastated by it." Meanwhile, Ozzy shared the above image of himself in a space suit on Facebook, with the hashtags "#NewPlan #SpaceOz #SocialDistancing." There's an idea!
