Ozzy Osbourne on the Grammys Red Carpet

Ozzy says "final" tour will go on, "if I'm well enough"

Ozzy Osbourne recently made the sad revelation that his ongoing health problems include a diagnosis of Parkinsons Disease. He has been scheduled to begin a postponed “final” run of shows this year, including Europe/UK dates with Judas Priest and North American dates with Marilyn Manson, and speaking to CBS from the red carpet of last night’s Grammys (where he also made an appearance as presenter with his wife Sharon), Ozzy addressed whether his tour would go on:

If I’m well enough, I’ll work towards it. I’m having physical therapy every day, five days a week. I’m trying, doing the best I can. Neck surgery’s not easy.

His daughter, Kelly, said:

Seeing how far Dad’s come this year and how far he’s come in the last week alone has just been incredible. I think coming out and telling his truth has been a weight lifted off of his shoulders. And even like his physical therapist is saying how far you have moved forward in this last week is insane.

We’re rooting for you, Ozzy!
