Brooklyn group P.E. -- aka the combined forces of ex-Pill members Veronica Torres, Jonathan Campolo, and Benjamin Jaffe, plus Eaters' Jonathan Schenke and Bob Jones -- release their debut album, Person, this Friday. You can hear elements of both groups in thier sound, melting modern electronics, dubby atmosphere, skronky no wave, danceable post-punk, ambient loops and floating sax into something new, unique, wonderful and strange. You can stream a few songs from it below.

There's a special edition of Person available for pre-order that comes with a bonus cassette titled SAD, SICK, FUN! that's a wild, psychedelic collage of album outtakes, live recordings, new songs and remixes. It's pretty cool in its own right and a stream of the whole thing premieres in this post. You can listen below.

P.E. will celebrate the album's release on Friday (3/6) at Trans-Pecos with Gauche and Macula Dog and they'll be heading to Austin for SXSW. After that, they've got spring tour dates with Pottery (including the Brooklyn show at Elsewhere Zone One on May 6), and then they'll  join Parquet Courts for a few Northeast shows, including an Asbury Park, NJ show at The Stone Pony on May 28. Tickets for the Stone Pony show go on sale Friday, March 6 at 11 AM.
