Padma Lakshmi (of Top Chef, etc) is no stranger to throwing comedy shows in Brooklyn, and she's a new one. "Padma Puts on Another Comedy Show" happens at Bell House on August 15, and proceeds from the early and late shows go to the National Network of Abortion Funds; tickets to both are on sale now. From the Network's mission statement:

The National Network of Abortion Funds builds power with members to remove financial and logistical barriers to abortion access by centering people who have abortions and organizing at the intersections of racial, economic, and reproductive justice.

Both the early and late shows feature performance from Julio Torres, Chris Gethard, Michelle Buteau, Maeve Higgins, Ana Fabrega, and Dulce Sloan. The early show also includes Roy Woods Jr. and Larry Owens, while the late show has Marie Faustin, Pat Regan, Benito Skinner, and Chloe Fineman. Matt Rogers and Bowen Yang host.
