Palehound shares new video, playing afternoon show at Trans-Pecos w/ The Lemon Twigs, Heliotropes & more
Palehound recently shared their video for “Cushioned Caging,” a track from last year's debut album, Dry Food. It was created by a team of high school students from Boston's Real to Reel Filmschool, and director Badger Antoniou fills in the story:
The idea started with wanting to destroy things, so we worked our way backwards from there to come up with a story and reason to sledgehammer stuff. It was pretty funny. We all had safety goggles and were hiding behind pieces of plexi-glass for the destruction scenes. Amazingly none of us lost an eye or limb, and even our camera came out okay!
You can watch the video below.
Palehound have a few West Coast dates in August, including this year's Pickathon fest outside of Portland. Upon returning to the East Coast, they'll play an afternoon show at Ridgewood's Trans-Pecos on Saturday, August 13 with new 4AD-signees The Lemon Twigs, Heliotropes, Witch Coast and Gold Connections. It's all-ages and tickets are on sale now.
