Panorama festival‘s first day of its second year on Randall’s Island is now underway (it’s streaming live, too), but during The Parlor stage’s third set of the day, the enclosed room was evacuated and Panorama announced that it’s shut down for the rest of the day.

It happened during Isaiah Rashad’s very packed capacity set, which our own Andrew Sacher was shut out of (and there was still a long line when he got there). He just stopped by again to see what’s happening and security is just telling people they can’t go in. Cherry Glazerr was set to go on next, followed by Breakbot and DJ Shadow (whose set overlaps with Girl Talk and Solange on other stages).
It was so packed that maybe the floor couldn’t handle it?

So @PanoramaNYC festival just told a packed room to evacuate the indoor Parlor stage during Isaiah Rashad's set.

No reason given but it doesn't seem like an emergency.
