Papercuts' new album, Parallel Universe Blues, is out next week via Slumberland and one of the standout cuts on the LP is "How to Quit Smoking," a song that exemplifies Jason Quever's melancholy dreampop and intimate vignette lyrical style. If you're looking to this song to offer actual advice on how to give up cigarettes, however, you might want to look elsewhere. "Now you know this is the last one," Jason sings in the chorus, before adding the stinger: "...for a while." The song premieres in this post and you can stream it below.

Having toured with Beach House over the summer, Papercuts have a few West Coast dates lined up for November, including a Slumberland Records night at San Francisco's The Chapel on 11/8 with Tony Molina and Kids on a Crime Spree. All dates are listed below.
