Parenthetical Girls in Chicago in 2012 (more by Sarah Frankie Linder)
Parenthetical Girls

As mentioned, Parenthetical Girls packed material from their five Privilege EPs into a 12-song album called Privilege, which is out now. If you were already keeping up and have all of the EPs, the album may be less necessary for you, but for anyone who's yet to approach them, the album's a great collection of the material they'd been putting out. You can stream the whole thing and watch the new-ish video for its track, "A Note to Self," below.

Parenthetical Girls kicked off their tour last night (3/6) in San Francisco and it will be coming to NYC later this month. But before that, the band will stop in Austin for SXSW, where they'll play a few shows, including a BrooklynVegan day party on Thursday, March 14 at 603 Red River St. (the old Emo's location). They're on at 3:45 PM and the show is 100% FREE with RSVP. Full lineup coming soon.

Updated dates are listed, along with the album stream and video, below...
