Earlier this year, Passion Pit's Michael Angelakos posted a series of tweets that appeared to suggest that he was going on hiatus from music, but he quickly clarified that he was not in fact going on hiatus, he is just "taking time away from being a commercialized artist." He is indeed sticking to music, as Passion Pit have just announced a 2018 tour. A portion of all proceeds from VIP packages for the tour will go to charities promoting mental health awareness.

The tour includes a NYC show on January 13 at Terminal 5. Tickets go on sale Friday (12/1) at noon. Here's what the VIP package, which he is calling "The 'Inner Dialogue' Experience," includes:

-One (1) General Admission ticket to see Passion Pit live
-Invitation to a pre-show 2-song soundcheck performance
-Q&A with Michael Angelakos
-One (1) autographed Passion Pit tour poster
-Crowd-free merchandise shopping before doors to the public

Passion Pit released his new album Tremendous Sea of Love this year, and he also is continuing to focus on The Wishart Group, a company he started to aid musicians who need legal, educational and healthcare services.
