Patti Smith, Alicia Keys, A$AP Rocky, Chance the Rapper & Salt-N-Pepa playing 2016 Black Ball benefit

Keep A Child Alive’s 13th annual Black Ball benefit, “an evening of music and philanthropy to reignite the spirit of ’80s activism to end AIDS,” goes down at NYC’s Hammerstein Ballroom on October 19. As usual, Keep A Child Alive co-founder Alicia Keys will host and perform, and the lineup also includes Harlem rap great A$AP Rocky, legendary punk poet Patti Smith, rising Chicago star Chance the Rapper, and Queens veterans Salt-N-Pepa. You can get tickets starting at $300 or book a table starting at $35,000.

If you aren’t attending the concert, you can stream it live via TIDAL (even if you aren’t a member).

Speaking of Alicia Keys and TIDAL, the Black Ball benefit is four days after Alicia Keys plays the TIDAL concert at Barclays Center with Beyonce, Nicki Minaj, Lauryn Hill, and many more.
