Patti Smith announces New Year's shows at Webster Hall (and other dates)

NYC punk legend Patti Smith has announced that her annual hometown end of year shows will take place at Webster Hall on December 29 and 30 this year. Tickets for those shows, which usually happen at the smaller Bowery Ballroom (Punch Brothers steal the dates?) go on sale Friday (9/20) at noon.

Sooner than that, Patti plays the previously discussed Inside Llewyn Davis celebration at Town Hall on September 29 with Jack White, Colin Meloy, Cono Oberst, and more. That’s sold out. And even sooner, she’ll be doing a tribute to Hildegard of Bingen at The Met on Friday (9/20), which is also sold out.
