Brooklyn shoegazy indiepop band Peel Dream Magazine are back with their second album, Agitprop Alterna, which will be out April 3 via Slumberland in North America and Tough Love in the rest of the world. While their debut was more of a solo studio project for Joe Stevens, PDM soon turned into a real band, and the new album reflects a year and a half of live shows with the rest of the group contributing. The first single is the album's opening track, "Pill," which mixes equal parts melody, noise and drone and falls somewhere between My Bloody Valentine and early Stereolab (and is also reminiscent of onetime Slumberland band Rocketship). It's Peel Dream Magazine's catchiest single to date and premieres in this post. Watch the video below.

Peel Dream Magazine play Brooklyn's Baby's All Right on Wednesday (1/29) with Patti, and Very Nice Massage. That's the kickoff to their winter tour which hits Winooski (VT), Montreal, Ottawa and Toronto and then dates with J Fernandez in Detroit, Milwaukee, Chicago and Oberlin, OH.
