Pete Doherty arrested again in Paris after being released from jail
Libertines/Babyshambles frontman Pete Doherty has been having a bad week in Paris. First he was arrested on Thursday and spent the night in jail for allegedly buying cocaine, and now France 24 reports that he was arrested again on Sunday, this time for being part of a drunken brawl. His lawyer, Arash Derambarsh, said Doherty “went home then went out again to have a drink” but after being in detox the previous month, his alcohol tolerance was low.
Also according France 24, Doherty agreed to pay a daily 50 Euro fine for 100 days which is a simplified procedure for people caught using drugs.
The Libertines are set to tour later in November, and Pete released new self-titled album with his band The Puta Madres back in August which you can listen to below.
