Peter Murphy brought his "Stripped" tour to City Winery for 2 shows (pics, setlists)

Goth icon Peter Murphy brought his “Stripped” tour, where he’s playing semi-acoustic renditions of solo and Bauhaus material, back to NYC over the weekend for early and late shows at City Winery on Sunday (12/11). For those who went to both, Murphy mixed things up with different sets: the early show got Bauhaus’ “Hollow Hills” and “All We Ever Wanted”; the late show got “Bela Legosi’s Dead,” solo hit “All Night Long” and a cover of onetime 4AD labelmates Dead Can Dance’s “Severance.” Both shows got “Indigo Eyes,” “A Strange Kind of Love” and a cover of Bowie’s “The Belway Brothers.” Pictures from both City Winery performances are in the gallery above, and setlists of both shows are below.
