Amidst deflecting some controversy, Death From Above are currently on tour in support of new album Outrage! Is Now, and hit NYC for a show at Brooklyn Steel on October 25. They may have dropped the "1979" from their name but it's otherwise business as usual for Jesse Keeler and Sebastian Grainger, cranking out the fuzzed-out bass-and-drums party rock. Along for the ride are fellow Torontonians The Beaches who just released their debut album, Late Show, and whose new wave-y sound made a good match for DFA.
