Reggae and dub icon Lee "Scratch" Perry is on tour now celebrating the 45th anniversary of The Upsetters' classic album Blackboard Jungle Dub. At 82, LSP is still full of fire and eccentricities and, as he's done the past few tours, he was backed by Subatomic Soundsystem, including Emch on mix and the melodica, Larry McDonald (Gil Scott-Heron/Toots and the Maytals) on percussion and Troy Simms on saxophone. Top Shotta Band opened the night, which was a very early show by Lee "Scratch" Perry's standards. Pictures from the Elsewhere show are in the gallery above.
