Pill celebrating new LP this week w/ Pop 1280 & more, touring with Parquet Courts & Guerilla Toss (dates)

Brooklyn’s Pill will release their new album, Convenience, this week via Mexican Summer. With a twitchy, skronky politically-charged sound somewhere between no-wave and post-punk, Convenience is not for passive listening. (There is nothing passive about Pill, for that matter.) Pill will celebrate the release of Convenience on Friday, August 19 at The Park Church Co-Op in Greenpoint, Brooklyn with Pop. 1280, Future Punx, and B Boys. Tickets for that show are on sale and the flyer is below.

The band will also play the Summer’s End Music Festival which happens at Brooklyn’s Aviv from September 2-4 and features Guerilla Toss, Honduras, Mal Blum, Tall Juan, Beth Israel, Kississippi, and more. Pill play the 9/4 show. Daily tickets and fest passes for Summer’s End are on sale now, and daily lineups are listed below.

After Summer’s End, Pill will be on a short North American tour with Guerilla Toss before heading to UK/Europe for shows with Parquet Courts. All dates are listed below.
