After ending a year-long hiatus with a short run of Northeast US shows that quickly sold out, Pinegrove have now announced a lengthier 2019 tour, which stops in DC, Richmond, Atlanta, Nashville, Chicago, and more, before ending in the NJ band's home state on March 9 at Asbury Park's House of Independents. Tickets for all shows go on sale Friday (12/7) at 10 AM local.
Pinegrove are also doing two nights in the UK tonight (12/5) and Thursday (12/6), followed by San Francisco and West Hollywood shows next week. All dates are listed below.
Pinegrove began their hiatus after frontman Evan Stephens Hall issued a statement saying that he had been accused of sexual coercion and apologized for it. They cancelled all dates and delayed the release of their new album Skylight, which was eventually released in September, with all Bandcamp proceeds going to Musicares, the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, and the Voting Rights Project. You can read more about the story in a recent in-depth Pitchfork feature.
