Pitchfork Festival continued Saturday (7/15) with a headlining set from A Tribe Called Quest, where an empty mic was left in honor of the late Phife Dawg, a founding member of the group. Tribe's set included a cover of Kanye West's "Spaceship," and Q-Tip coming down off the stage to spend a little time in the crowd. Tribe will be in NYC later this month when they play Sunday at Panorama festival.

An early highlight of the day was an energetic set from Jeff Rosenstock. Of his set, the Chicago Tribune says:

Punk lifer Jeff Rosenstock and his bandmates acknowledge the profound disconnect they perceive from being invited to play a large festival festooned with corporate signage and videos. Their latest album included "Festival Song," which declares, "It feels completely ridiculous that I'm a willing participant." But perhaps out of appreciation for their relatively generous payday ($7,500! A fortune by punk standards) they don't play the song. Instead they are full of mild critiques -- all the ads don't "mean you have to buy anything from Lyft"-- and self-deprecating wit. "I'd like to say thanks to the person at Pitchfork who got fired for letting us play here," Rosenstock says. The humor veils the sharpness and range of Rosenstock's songs, which blend wonky keyboards, reggae interludes and chintzy electro beats as well as full-force punk guitars while underpinning gang choruses and wordless, shout-along vocal melodies. The band may not think it belongs here, but this performance says otherwise.

Saturday at Pitchfork fest also included sets from Vagabon, Weyes Blood (who closed her set with a cover of Can's "Vitamin C"), Cherry Glazerr, Arab Strap, Mitski, George Clinton, Francis and the Lights (who, in addition to his usual repertoire of dance moves, climbed a tree), The Feelies, Angel Olsen, Madlib, PJ Harvey, and Emmy nominees S U R V I V E.

Pitchfork wraps up today (7/16), and if you aren't in Chicago for the festival, you can still live stream some sets. We also have the full set times.
