Pixies began their run of Come On Pilgrim... It's Surfer Rosa shows at London's Roundhouse last night (10/30) in support of the recently-released joint reissue of Come On Pilgrim and Surfer Rosa. They opened the show with Come On Pilgrim performed in full, then played their cover of "In Heaven (Lady in the Radiator Song)" from David Lynch's Eraserhead which they recorded for their 1987 demo a few months before Come On Pilgrim, and then they played Surfer Rosa start to finish. They returned for an encore that included classic-era b-sides "Build High" and "Into the White," early '90s classics "Down to the Well" and "Planet of Sound," Frank Black's solo song "Rock a My Soul," and newer Pixies song "Um Chagga Lagga." You can check out the full setlist and see videos of them playing "Gigantic" (with Kim Deal's replacement Paz Lenchantin singing lead) and "Where Is My Mind" below.

The tour continues with four more consecutive sold-out Roundhouse shows this week, and then they do a Come On Pilgrim/Surfer Rosa run at NYC's Brooklyn Steel on November 18, 19, and 20. Night 1 is sold out but you can still get tickets for nights 2 and 3.

In 2019, Pixies will once again doing a North American headlining tour with Weezer, and Basement were just added as openers. All Pixies dates and tickets here.
