Pleasure Leftists playing Saint Vitus w/ Dark Blue before European tour (dates & 12" stream)

Cleveland post-punks Pleasure Leftists have a few dates coming up supporting fellow Cleveland band Cloud Nothings, and after that they’ll be touring Europe. But in between those two tours, they’ll squeeze in a headlining appearance in NYC at Saint Vitus on April 25. Also on that show is Philly trio Dark Blue (mems Clockcleaner, Paint It Black, Purling Hiss), plus two NYC post-punk bands, Survival and Failed States. Following releases on small trusty labels Fan Death and Katorga Works, Pleasure Leftists teamed up with another small trust label, Deranged Records (White Lung’s pre-Domino home), who put out their most recent 12″ in late 2013. It’s 5 songs of dark, driving post-punk and can be streamed in its entirety below.

Meanwhile, you can catch Dark Blue at Saint Vitus much sooner, when they open for Nothing at the Brooklyn venue tonight (3/20). That show also features local post-metallers Sannhet and industrial noise crew York Factory Complaint, and is sold out.
