POW! released LP on Castle Face (listen), touring with POPTONE (ex Love & Rockets)

Synth-punks POW! released their third album, Crack an Egg, earlier this year on Castle Face, their first record since relocating from San Francisco to Los Angeles. As on their first two records, the band match dark, danceable, postpunk with skeptical, sardonic lyricism, and you can stream the whole thing below.

POW! will be on tour with POPTONE, aka Daniel Ash and Kevin Haskins of Bauhaus/Tones on Tail/Love & Rockets, including the NYC-area shows at The Stone Pony on August 3 and Irving Plaza on August 5. Tickets are still available to both those shows. At the end of their tour, POW! will also play a headlining show at Brooklyn’s Alphaville on August 13 with Future Punx, LA’s French Vanilla and Bodega (tickets).
