Melbourne garage punks Power (not to be confused with various other bands of that same name) released their debut album Electric Glitter Boogie last year. It's definitely worth a listen if you dig the Australian garage rock/post-punk scene, or just anything with glammy swagger and punky energy. They're about to come over to the US to play the stacked Gonerfest and tour with Ex-Cult, who called Power one of their favorite bands. Stream the album below.

The tour with Ex-Cult doesn't hit NYC (though Ex-Cult singer Chris Shaw was just here for two shows with GØGGS, his band with Ty Segall), but Power will play their own NYC show right after that tour ends. They'll hit Alphaville on October 13 with Filth Hound. Tickets for that show are on sale now. All dates are listed below.

As for Ex-Cult, they just released a new song off Negative Growth, their upcoming album that they recorded with Ty Segall. It's called "Attention Ritual" and it's another total ripper. Listen below. The LP is out September 23 via In The Red.
