Power Trip playing last-minute Acheron late show tonight after Long Island matinee

Texas thrashers Power Trip are in NY this weekend, having just played the BrooklynVegan-curated Red Bull Sound Select show at Palisades last night (9/12) (well really this morning) with White Lung and Sick Feeling (more pictures coming soon). Today (9/13) they’ve got a 4 PM matinee on Long Island, happening at Amityville Music Hall. And it’s now been announced that they’ll return to NYC TONIGHT for a late show at Acheron with Brooklyn’s Ajax. It starts after the Junglepussy / Celeste / Princess Nokia show and $7 at the door gets you in.
They played around 2 AM at Palisades last night to a wild crowd that included at least one fan jumping from a 10-ish foot high PA speaker. Stay tuned for more pictures and more on that show coming soon.
