Prince has died (RIP)
It is the saddest news. Six days ago, Prince was rushed to the hospital after an emergency plane landing — he said he was suffering from the flu — but he ended up being okay. Now TMZ reports the horrible news that he passed away early this morning. The AP has confirmed the news with Prince’s publicist. He was 57.
What a year.
UPDATE: Prince’s publicist issued an official statement:
It is with profound sadness that I am confirming that the legendary, iconic performer, Prince Rogers Nelson, has died at his Paisley Park residence this morning at the age of 57.
