John Lydon brought the Public Image Ltd 40th Anniversary "The Image is Rotten" celebration to NYC on Monday (10/15) for a show at Brooklyn Steel. Opening with "Deeper Water" off 2012's This is PiL, the current lineup of the band -- which includes guitarist Lu Edmonds (who also played bouzouki), drummer Bruce Smith, and bassist Scott Firth -- pulled from throughout PiL's career, including "Death Disco," "The Body," "Warrior," "This is Not a Love Song," "Rise," "Public Image," and even "Open Up," which was John Lydon's collaboration with Leftfield.
