Pusha T releases song that samples ‘Succession’ theme (listen)

As teased earlier this week, Pusha T has a new song called "Puppets" that samples Nicholas Britell's theme song for Succession, which seems like a match made in heaven, and it delivers. King Push works themes of the show into the song, and the hook of "Fame, fortune, envy, jealousy / Privilege, passed on legacy" just sounds like... something that could be in a Pusha T song. This is two likeminded entities putting their heads together, not some cheesy TV promo thing. Listen below.

Pusha T will be in NYC for Rolling Loud at Citi Field this weekend. He recently released two Kanye-produced singles, which he says are off another Kanye-produced album that's "due at some point in 2019."
