PWR BTTM sign to Polyvinyl for LP2, interviewed Pansy Division

Following a solid amount of buzz and an unforgettable live show to back it up, NYC queer pop punk duo PWR BTTM have signed to the venerable Polyvinyl Records (American Football, Rainer Maria, Japandroids, etc), who will release their sophomore album in 2017. They’re in the process of recording the album now. In the meantime, they recently released the singles “Projection” and “New Hampshire,” which are bonus tracks on the UK release of their debut album Ugly Cherries. Listen to those below.

PWR BTTM played NYC a few days ago with Dresden Dolls, and they’ll do so again on their tour with Lisa Prank, which hits Baby’s All Right on October 20 and Market Hotel on October 21 (the latter show was moved from Shea). Both are sold out.

PWR BTTM also interviewed veteran queer pop punk band Pansy Division for AltPress, ahead of the release of that band’s new album Quite Contrary. Read the interview and stream the new album HERE.
