Queens of the Stone Age and Run the Jewels, two acts that have both been popping up on Best of 2017 lists, joined forces at WKQX’s ‘The Night We Stole Christmas’ concert at Chicago’s Aragon Ballroom on Saturday (12/2). Rounding out the bill was Biffy Clyro (who we missed). QOTSA did a career-spanning set with a few from their new album plus older faves like “A Song for the Dead,” “You Think I Ain’t Worth a Dollar, but I Feel Like a Millionaire,” “Go with the Flow,” “No One Knows,” “Little Sister,” “Sick, Sick Sick,” “The Lost Art of Keeping a Secret,” and more. RTJ kept their set heaviest on RTJ3 but also played faves from the first two and their DJ Shadow collab “Nobody Speak.” Pictures of both acts are in the gallery above and both setlists are below.

QOTSA and RTJ will meet again at QOTSA’s own London festival on June 30. The lineup also features Iggy Pop (whose latest album was made with QOTSA’s Josh Homme), The Hives, and more TBA.

In other Run the Jewels news, they appear on “Put Jewels On It” off Statik Selektah‘s new album 8, which drops this Friday. Listen to that below.
