Radical Dads at South Street Seaport, 8/18/2013

If you don’t want it to rain at your next outdoor show, take the time and effort to put up a tent onstage to keep the band dry. The weather forecast on Sunday afternoon (8/18) was muggy and little drops of rain kept threatening to dampen the proceedings for the third week of the 2013 Sound Bites series at South Street Seaport which featured Brooklyn indie rockers Radical Dads. But things stayed mostly dry for another great set (if I do say so, as series booker) as folks watched and tots tumbled on the astroturf lawn on Fulton Street. It was a fun day. The Sound Bites Series wraps up this Sunday (8/25) with Boston’s Bent Shapes. I start DJing around 3 PM and the band will be on at 4 PM sharp. Do come out.

If you missed them, Radical Dads play again on September 7 at Glasslands with Aye Nako (who have other shows as well). Tickets for that show are still available.
