Rage Against the Machine announce reunion tour w/ Run the Jewels (MSG included)

Many months after teasing their return and announcing some festival dates, including Coachella, Boston Calling, and Firefly, Rage Against the Machine have announced a full reunion tour, their first since 2011, with support from Run the Jewels. It begins with the previously teased El Paso TX, Las Cruces NM, and Glendale AZ dates in March ahead of Coachella, and from there hits Oakland, Portland, Vancouver, Winnipeg, Minneapolis, Chicago, Detroit, Toronto, Washington DC, NYC, Camden NJ, and more. The tour hits the NYC area for three nights: two at Madison Square Garden on August 10 and 11, and Camden, NJ’s BB&T Pavilion on August 7. Tickets for those dates go on sale Thursday 2/13 at 11 AM.

According to RATM, they’ll be working with “multiple charities and activist organizations throughout the tour,” “through ticketing, volunteering and band donations.” In addition, 100% proceeds from their March dates in El Paso, Las Cruces, and Glendale will go to immigrant rights.

For Run the Jewels, these dates are supporting their to be announced new album, RTJ4, which is due out in the spring.

RTJ’s El-P previously produced Zack de la Rocha’s 2016 solo song, his first in over a decade, and Zack appeared on RTJ2 and RTJ3.
