Rakta

Brazil's Rakta make ripping punk that incorporates the dark sounds of gothy post-punk and also some of the tripped-out atmospheres of psychedelic rock. They put out a self titled EP at the tail-end of 2013 which is well worth checking out. You can download it (name your price) at bandcamp and stream it in full below. They've been in the US on a tour that hit NYC at Nothing Changes late last night (10/15) with Merchandise tourmates Ninos Du Brasil, and they'll be hanging around for another NYC show on Saturday (10/18) at Palisades with Toronto's S.H.I.T., plus Survival and Mommy. Tickets for that show are on sale now.

Their only other upcoming show that we're currently aware of is opening one of the LA stops on Iceage's tour. All of their dates are listed, with the EP stream, below...
