Raphael Saadiq announces 2020 tour, on new Alicia Keys/Miguel song

Raphael Saadiq recently released Jimmy Lee, his first album in eight years, which features appearances by Kendrick Lamar, A Tribe Called Quest’s Ali Shaheed Muhammad, and more. You can listen to the whole thing below.

While he played a few small-ish dates around Jimmy Lee‘s release, Raphael has now announced an extensive North American tour of much larger venues for 2020, starting January 23 in San Diego and wrapping up February 29 in Los Angeles, hitting most major cities in between. Those include two shows in the NYC area: Terminal 5 on February 13 and a Valentine’s Day show at Newark’s Prudential Hall on February 14 with special guest Thundercat. Tickets for NYC and Newark — and the whole tour — are on presale now and go on sale to the general public on Friday, September 20 at 10 AM local. All dates are listed below.

In related news, Raphael plays guitar on the just-released new duet from Alicia Keys and Miguel. The song comes with a video directed by Cara Stricker which stars Michael B. Jordan, Zoe Saldana, and Marco Perego Saldana. Watch/listen below.
