Virginia rap/rock/go-go/etc trio RDGLDGRN (aka Red Gold Green) are gearing up for a tour that begins this week, and before they hit the road, they’ve got a new single, “Danger,” which features Brooklyn underground rap staple Nitty Scott and Romanian pop singer Alexandra Stan. It’s a fun, rhythmic song that was inspired by a trip to Brazil and can’t really be tied to any individual music genre or culture, and the Nitty Scott verse is awesome. It comes with a video starring the band and Nitty Scott, and here’s what vocalist King Green says about it:

“Danger” was written right after I returned from a trip from Brazil. “BAILE de FAVELA” was a song playing at the time everywhere in Rio and the sound blew my mind. The day I came back I made the entire song. Method Man is the reason why this music video exists, he told me that if I can rap and perform then I can do movies and it’s up to me to put in the work to make it great or not. So this video is just a portion of a film that we are working on and it’s all thanks to Mef.

RDGLDGRN also shed more light on “Danger” in a “featurette” video, and you can watch that below too.
