Redd Kross' debut EP, originally out on Posh Boy (and made when the band were very much teenagers), is a punk classic with such all-timers as "I Hate My School," "Annette's Got the Hits" and "Standing in Front of Poseur." To celebrate its upcoming 40th anniversary, it's being reissued by Merge on June 26, with its six tracks augmented by five contemporaneous extra tracks, including demos and a live version of "Fun With Connie" recorded in 1979 at “The Church” -- the infamous Black Flag birthplace in Hermosa Beach, CA -- when Steve and Jeff McDonald were just 12 and 16, respectively. The reissue comes with rare photos and a lyric sheet and you can preorder it now. Watch a trailer for the reissue (and listen to the original) below.

Meanwhile, Redd Kross recently reissued their mid-'90s albums Phaseshifter and Show World via Third Man, have a documentary on the way, and released Beyond the Door in 2019. They've also got an L.A. show in July and European tour dates this fall...and hopefully the world will be back to normal enough by then for those to happen. Dates are listed below.
