Reigning Sound playing NYC; Oblivians & Gories too
Garage rock staples Reigning Sound are coming to NYC for a show co-presented by BrooklynVegan and The New Deal on March 30 at Brooklyn Bazaar. There's local support from Hank Wood & the Hammerheads (who released one of the best punk albums of 2018) and Brandy (ex-Pampers). Tickets are on BrooklynVegan presale now (PASSWORD = COMPULSIVEBV), and the public on-sale starts Friday (2/1) at noon.
It's the only currently-announced Reigning Sound show at the moment, but Greg Cartwright's band Oblivians has a couple coming up too. They're playing Debach-a-Rico in Puerto Rico in February, and a co-headlining show with their pals The Gories at Brooklyn's Music Hall of Williamsburg on April 27. Tickets for that show are on AmEx presale now and the public on-sale begins Friday at 10 AM.
Meanwhile, much sooner at Brooklyn Bazaar is the New Deal-presented Ted Leo show on Friday (2/1) with Slingshot Dakota and Supernatural Psycho (tickets).
